ABOUT US

I am a sole trader who has worked in the gas industry since 1974 when I was apprenticed to British Gas. During my 5 year apprenticeship I was trained in many areas of gas engineering including installation, maintenance and small industrial appliances.

I was involved in many aspects of the gas industry in my 28 years with British Gas including specialist installation teams, sales, and training of apprentices. I eventually became a manager, but missed being an engineer, so when I was offered the opportunity to leave and work for another gas and heating company as a more hands on manager, I took it.

A few years later I left that role and set up Edwards Gas and Heating Services. We are a small family business, my wife helps out with paper work, and my son is now my apprentice. When he is not at college he works full time for me.
